Art Circle Events

A.Y.2025-26

• Pookalam Competition
  The Pookalam Competition is a rangoli-making contest that combines traditional floral art with modern AI technology. Participants create vibrant designs while exploring how AI can inspire new patterns, colors, and ideas—blending cultural heritage with innovation.

 

• Teachers’ Day Celebration
  The Teachers’ Day Celebration will be marked with innovative games and fun activities involving the faculty, creating a lively and interactive atmosphere. Alongside this, there will be various performances by both students and teachers, showcasing talent, creativity, and mutual appreciation. The event aims to honor teachers in a joyful way, blending entertainment with heartfelt gratitude

 

• Swartarang 2026
  Swartarang 2026, conducted under the Art Circle, is a grand cultural festival celebrated over four exciting days. The event brings together creativity, tradition, and entertainment through a variety of themed celebrations. Each day offers something unique—such as Neon Day, filled with vibrant colors and glowing energy; Traditional Day, showcasing cultural attire and heritage; and DJ Night, where music and dance create an electrifying atmosphere.
  With numerous performances, competitions, and interactive activities, Swartarang becomes more than just a festival—it’s a platform for students to express talent, celebrate diversity, and create unforgettable memories together.

• Celebrated Guru Purnima
  PCCOE EnTC department celebrated Guru Purnima online on July 22, 2024, with a sketch and song expressing gratitude to teachers

 

• Celebrated Teacher’s Day
  Teacher’s Day was celebrated on September 5, 2024, with a flute performance, poem, and skit honoring teachers, expressing gratitude, and promoting unity and respect.

 

• Alumni Meet
  An Alumni Meet on October 19, 2024 reunited alumni, students, and faculty, featuring rangoli decorations, dance performances, and shared memories celebrating college bonds

 

• Pookalam Competition during Onam 2024
  A Pookalam competition during Onam 2024 saw enthusiastic participation. Students created floral rangoli within one hour, judged creations, and winners received prizes and certificates.

 

• A Garba workshop on October 8, 2024
  A Garba workshop on October 8, 2024 guided students in Garba dance steps. With strong participation and positive feedback, the event promoted cultural engagement and unity.

 

• Art Circle visited an orphanage on April 10, 2025
  Art Circle visited an orphanage on April 10, 2025, donating books, interacting with children, and promoting learning, creativity, cultural activities, and community service.

• Garba workshop
  A Garba workshop on October 13, 2023 taught students Garba dance steps. With strong participation and positive feedback, it promoted cultural engagement.

 

• Hasya Jatra on October 14, 2023
  Hasya Jatra on October 14, 2023 featured stand-up comedy, competitions, and performances, entertaining a large audience.

 

• PCCoE Champions Competition
  PCCoE Champions competition featured rangoli, painting, photography, elocution, dance, and quiz events, with Civil Engineering winning overall.

 

• Garba workshop on October 17, 2023
  A Garba workshop on October 17, 2023 taught Garba dance steps to students and faculty, encouraging cultural engagement, participation, and strengthening unity within the college community.
