To Promote Knowledge & Skills: Facilitate high-quality learning experiences in signal processing through workshops, webinars, technical talks, and hands-on projects.
Encourage Research & Innovation: Inspire and support students to engage in research, publish technical work, and participate in competitive events (conferences, hackathons, challenges).

2025-26 Activities
- One-week short-term training program on Edge AI workflow design (14th July to 19th July 2025)
A one-week short-term training program on deploying AI workflows using TensorFlow Lite and STM32, with practical applications in audio classification and gesture recognition. Mr. Chiranjeevi Guruvindapudi, Application Engineer of DigiToad Technologies, Bangalore demonstrated various Edge AI applications to all participants.
- Distinguished Industry Speaker Session on "Easy and Lazy Technical Writing: Solid logic to invoke an Aha-Experience" (10th July 2025)
Distinguished Industry Speaker (DIS) Session on "Easy and Lazy Technical Writing: Solid logic to invoke an Aha-Experience” by Dr. Akihiko Sugiyama. Dr. Sugiyama introduced practical strategies and logical approaches to help students and professionals write more effectively and efficiently.
- IEEE Eu-Reka (June – July 2025)
TY E&TC students Omkar Kumbhar, Janhavi Bramhe, Kaivalya Katti, Asmita Patange, Girish Kanoje, Shakti Singh Girase demonstrated STEM topic "Making Gardens Smarter using IoT and AI” to school students to introduce real-world applications of advanced technologies and inspire them to take up higher education in the field of science and technology.

Presentation competition based on signal processing reference papers First Prize winner: Eshal Shaikh (Multi-Mode Electric Wheelchair with Health Monitoring and Posture Detection using Machine Learning Techniques.) Second Prize winner: Shreyash Desai (Cardiac Sound Classification using a hybrid approach: MFCC-based feature fusion and CNN deep features)
- IEEE Membership Drive (24th September 2025)
Mr. Rakshit Jain and Mr. Mandar Khurjekar from IEEE Pune section encouraged students to join IEEE along with active participation in professional, technical, and leadership opportunities offered through IEEE.

- A Session on “Advance TCMS System Communication for Transportation” by Knorr Bremse Technology Centre India Pvt. Ltd (8th August, 2024)
- Successfully organised one week Edge AI Workflow Design Training in association with DigiToad Technologies by Mr. Rohit Prajapati, Technical director, DigiToad Technologies, Bangalore during 22th to 27th July 2024.
- The IEEE SPS Student Chapter at PCCOE, organized a workshop under Try Engineering -Initiative titled "Hands-on Engineering: The Tech Around Us – Science Behind Everyday Devices" on 16th October 2024 at JSPM's Blossom Public School, Tathawade, Pune.
- Session on "Big Data & Gen AI-Powered Innovation: A New Era of Possibilities, “by Abhishek Mittal, Senior Director at Capgemini (18th October 2024)

- Received funding of US$2000 from IEEE for 2023 IEEE SPS Seasonal school on “Explainable AI for Signal and Image Processing”
- Student Branch Chapter Growth Reward: Received $250 growth reward for recruiting new Student or Graduate Student members to SPS at our Institution for 2024 and 2025
- Vibhav J. Dalvi (Final Year, B. Tech E&TC) is selected as Student Section Representative (SSR) in IEEE Pune Section Student activities Committee 2024
- IEEE Pune Section Student Congress 2024: Vibhav J. Dalvi Collaborated with a team of 50 members from SAC and IEEE MIT WPU Student Branch. Organized a one-day event focused on Industry Insights on 28th September 2024, attended by 300+ students.
- Kshiteej Talk Series: Vibhav J. Dalvi coordinated impactful sessions on Digital India Infrastructure with Mr. Dinanath Kholkar. Collaborated with IEEE Student Branch, Pune teams to ensure successful execution.
- Volunteering of Webinars on Emerging Topics: Vibhav J. Dalvi volunteered for insightful webinars, including:
o Cryogenics and Superconductivity by Ajit Nandawadekar.
o Women in Smart Cities with Dr. Surekha Deshmukh and IEEE President-Elect Kathleen Kramer.
