Communication and Personality Development Cell (CPDC Cell)

Objectives of CPDC Cell


To motivate and guide students for improvement in Communication skills and overall Personality Development and to impart quality training for Aptitude, soft skills development of students and ensure its effectiveness

  • All students admitted in AY 2017-18 completed 90 Hrs training on Quantitative Aptitude, GD & PI in semester –II of AY 2018-19. All SE students of E&Tc Department registered in semester II of AY 2018-19 completed 30 Hrs training on Communication and Soft-skill development.
  • All BE students completed course of 100Hrs In Semester I of AY 2018-19

Professional Development Cell (PDC Cell):

Objectives of PDC Cell


  • To arrange various technical skill development and foreign language training programs to improve professional standards and to develop personality of students.

  • A GRE Awareness program was conducted on 14/01/19 by Dr. Sunil Kulkarni for SE students.
  • IES awareness and counselling session on IES was conducted on 17/01/19 by Mr. Vibhav Thorat for SE & TE students.

Objectives of ETSA


  • The primary commitment of the ETSA is to provide responsible and equitable student leadership and to mirror the opinions and concerns of all segments of the department.
  • The ETSA attempts to motivate students in campus life and form a close-knit interdisciplinary, multinational student community at Electronics and Telecommunication Department.
  • The purpose of the ETSA shall be the establishment and maintenance of student government, the enactment and enforcement of the just laws and the promotion of such activities as are appropriate for the student body.
  • To promote the general welfare of the students; to encourage personal responsibility, loyalty, and a high sense of honor.

Inauguration And Guru Purnima Celebration


Brief information of event: The inauguration event of ETSA & IETE 2018-2019 took place on 27th July, 2018 follwed by Gurrpornima Celeration. Program began with the felicitation of all the dignitaries and the felicitation of the new members of ETSA & IETE.
Outcome of the activity: Platform provided by students for all students to groom overall personality development and management skills.

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION


Brief information of event: Teacher's day is celebrated all over the world in commemoration of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. ETSA celebrated teacher's day on 5th Sept 2018 in seminar hall.This event started with welcoming teachers in seminar hall at 3.30 pm. The function was having various melodious musical performance ,entertainment programs performed by students.

“GEN NEX INDUSTRY” SEMINAR ON INDUSTRY STANDARD 4.0


Brief information of event: Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, had organized “GEN NEX INDUSTRY” One day seminar on INDUSTRY STANDARD 4.0, in association with IETE-PCCOE student forum and IEEE student chapter, Pune which was scheduled on 08th September 2018 at PIMPRI CHINCHWAD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING(PCCOE),Pune. “GEN NEX INDUSTRY” seminar on INDUSTRY STANDARD 4.0 aimed to provide an opportunity for students as well as professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge about Industry 4.0 standard and give them glimpses of Next-Generation Industry. Around 300 participants including Students , Faculty members and Professionals were benefitted from the Seminar.

Debatus


Electronics and Telecommunications Student Association (ETSA) had organised a debate competition “DEBATUS” for the students of SE and TE of the department of ENTC on occasion of Engineer’s Day. Prof. Ashwini S. Shinde and Prof. Swapnil S. Ayane successfully coordinated the event.

BE Project Competition


Brief information of event: Electronics and Telecommunications Student Association (ETSA) and IETE along with B.E. Project Team had organised a B.E. project competition for B.E. E&Tc students. The competition was held on 3th April 2019 in ENTC department in various labs .In the competition 76 teams of Pimpri Chinchwad college of engineering were participated. Total number of beneficiary was 198. All the project group were judged by Industry Person and Internal Examiners. Results of the competition are listed below.

BE FAREWELL


Brief information of event: The farewell bash for the outgoing students, named the ‘BON-VOYAGE BASH’ was celebrated with full gusto. It was arranged on the 9th April 2019 in seminar hall. HOD Dr. N.B. Chopade, Dr.K.S. kinge, Dr. M.T. Kolte, Prof A.B Patil, Prof A.R.Suryawanshi done felicitation of all special achievements in ETSA,ISR, NSS, Sports, Research, CPDC,E-cell Project Competition winners is done by Dr. N.B. Chopade. Best Outgoing student Award was given to Mr. Atherva Kulkarni from B.E. (E&Tc) Div.(A).
